There are tons of videos on the Bethesda YouTube so I won't litter the thread with all of them. The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. videos are pretty funny though. What does everyone else think? Are you the excite?
I AM THE EXCITE!!!1! It's funny. Human resources just released our unused time off data for the rest of the year. I discovered that I had 80 hours unused vacation time. So, I decided to take the week of November 10th off...just for Fallout 4. Even filled that in on the "Reason for time off" section of the form.
-Plays Fallout New Vegas -First mission: Kill some fucking plain ass mudkip fucks near some wells -Does mission for 3 minutes: Fak this, so boring Basically my first experience of Fallout, I really hope Fallout 4 is way better
I am very hyped for this game, as it's the first time I've played a Fallout from release. Luckily my birthday is Nov 4th, so hopefully I'll get enough money to pick up this bad boy.
I'm not expecting too much of it. Obviously I'll play it, and it'll be a good game, no doubt, but, meh... Fallout should be better than 'good' or 'fine'. I want universe, world building, dialogue, choice, immersion, and so on. That's more important to me than the FPS aspect. But for one, compare Fallout New Vegas (Obsidian) to Fallout 3 (Bethesda); the amount of missions and the amount of choices and 'deeper' consequences and all tied to it, for example. For two, dialogue has been completely ruined, as far as we can see; four choices or so, and you can't even see what you're going to say when picking one of the choices. That is absolutely disastrous, both from an RPG / choice perspective and from a worldbuilding perspective (I love all the random irrelevant dialogue you can engage in, that tell you more about the world and the way the person feels about various things). However, the ability to build your own towns sounds absolutely awesome, and I like the weapon modification system as well. So we'll see.

I was starting to worry about my i5 2500k already being shit, but it's really not. Thankfully, I can also keep praising the sun for my dank GPU
Well I wont be playing it. I let Nico read it to see if my pc could handle it but nope. I am sad FUCK!!!!
