Is it possible for you to implement a feature where you can choose which banner you want?
I'd love me some Teemo. I don't need anything else.

also inb4 an empty banner because Teemo can become invisible

 

This is a really, really good idea.

Have a shuffle selection as default and then allow people to choose their favourite.

Better still, write and addon and sell that shit.

Now, more pressing matters, we don't need the fucking banner everywhere Jesus Christ.

We don't need the quotes and the forum header backgrounds all changed, it's just got so much going on now. It's terrible.

The banner is good, changing everything else though, bad.

He didn't say it was an issue of time or effort, he said it was an issue of space: transmitting a new banner on every page load is a pretty good way to waste bandwidth, although considering this is a forum, I don't quite agree with the logic there either.

On the matter of space, it's fairly trivial to drop the size of the current Jinx image from the current 95KB to 23KB (which is over a 75% reduction) without sacrificing image quality (much).

 

Waste of bandwidth.

You run a huge series of gameservers off the same box, masses of bandwidth heavy services then imgkk on top of that and you're pulling the bandwidth card for a image rotation?

4 banners, 1 http request: 67kb - still smaller than the current image, quality isn't perfect, but it's fine once it's in the header.

I know this may not be important but why only LoL renders? I understand that majority of people here play LoL but we host mostly tf2 servers we have TTT and starbound too why not implemet those in it too? I´m not saying that LoL cant be there but personaly Jinx isnt the thing I want to look at all the time.
