    I'm just one hat away from completing my Hat Collection!

  3. Hooch Luckiest man alive.

    Traded my Janissary Ketche with Flaming Lantern effect for a beanie with Ghosts (traded for that because i liked it and no longer needed the ketche since i got a private eye)

    2 hours later, random russian kid adds me and offers me a stolen headwarmer with Smoking + 25 keys for the beanie.
    i accept his trade because well... 25 keys would get me a bud which i wanted and i liked the headwarmer.
    (used the 25 keys to get 1 bud + a lumb. lid, gave the bud to a friend who just started playing TF2)

    soon after that the original owner of the headwarmer adds me and allmost begs me to trade for his orbiting fire Hottie's Hoodie, i accept his offer because i'm a nice guy and then remember Squalls trade, "Green confetti Chef hat + 3 bills for orb fire Hoodie"

    still feeling generous i decide to trade him and give him the unusual he wanted for a pretty long time.

    next day i trade the confetti chef hat for 1 earbud and then proceed to trade the 1 bud + an #41 dragonborn helmet for an orb fire Chef hat :D

    traded the 3 regular bills into a bud

    First Unusual Ever.png

    Quick history here.

    Way back in October 2010, when Unusuals and Crates were first introduced to the game, I unboxed a Green Energy Safe n' Sound while playing Prophunt.

    Hell, I even remember the map. ph_farm.

    This was unboxed from a crate given to me from Moo.

    Some time after this, I traded it away.

    And for years I never gave it a second thought...right up until a few months ago.

    With the genius of Hooch, I was able to narrow down my search and find my actual First Unusual hat. And this is it.
