mcMMO: Summarised and Explained

By request I'm going through the mcMMO wiki and summarising the most important stuff with regards to excelling in Wasteland survival. Each header also links to its respective wiki article, so that you may read up in greater detail if you wish.

Acrobatics

• Acrobatics enables you to take less fall damage as you improve this skill.
• To level up in this skill you must take fall damage.
• For a standard fall, you gain 120XP per half heart of damage taken.
• XP gained decreases if the fall ends with some kind of a roll (which in itself is an ability gained by improving this skill)

Excavation

• Improves the yield from dirt, sand and other shovel-oriented blocks.
• 40 xp gained for most blocks destroyed (dirt, sand, soulsand etc)
• Level 25+: 5% chance of getting Glowstone Dust from dirt or sand (also 80xp gained as opposed to the usual 40)
• Level 350+: 0.13% chance of getting Diamond from any blocks (1000xp gained in this occurrence)
• Right-Click (Shovel): Uses "Giga-Drill Breaker" which allows you to instantly break relevant blocks for a brief period of time (this period increases with your skill)

Archery

• 10% damage bonus per 50 levels in this skill.
• Arrow Retrieval: Passive ability that recovers arrows from your victim, the chance of this occurrence increases by 0.1% per level.
• Daze: Another passive ability that paralyses the victim temporarily, the chance of this happening increases by 0.05% per level.

Mining

• Improves the efficiency of your mining by granting a chance of double drops as you progress in this skill.
• 30xp gained from every Netherrack block destroyed.
• Right-Click (Pick Axe): Instantly break blocks for a brief period. The initial duration of this ability is 2 seconds, plus 1 second per 50 levels.
• Blast Mining: Using TNT, you have a chance to collect more ores as you advance. The first milestone is level 125 at which a TNT explosion produces 10% less debris and 35% more ores. The yield improves every 125 levels after that.
• Double drops also apply here with greater chance as you go improve but does not work on Cobblestone and possibly other particular blocks.

Herbalism

• Improves general farming ability.
• This skill can be improved on by cutting vines, sugar canes, cacti, mushrooms, melons, pumpkins, wheat or various other farmable organic matter.
• Right-Click (Hoe): A brief chance to get 3x drops from herbs. Can also turn dirt in to grass or (cobble)stone in to moss stone.
• Instant Wheat Regrowth: Passive ability that provides you with a chance that on picking wheat, it is automatically replanted. The stage of growth at which it is at when planted depends on your level.
• Farmer's Diet: Another passive that improves the hunger replenished by bread and stew as you advance.

Woodcutting

• Right-Click (Axe): Readies "Tree Feller", a move that lets you destroy the bottom block of a tree causing the rest to fall after it. Warning: On occasion I've used this and been told that my axe has shattered in to pieces, followed by taking damage. Use with caution.
• As with other skills of this nature, your chance of getting double drops from trees improves with your skill level.
• XP gained from cutting: Oak = 70, Birch = 80, Pine = 90, [Jungle = 100 N/A]

Swords

• Right-Click: Serrated Blades: deals 25% additional damage and inflicts Bleed upon nearby enemies.
• As you level up in this skill, you increase your chance to inflict bleed on enemies you attack.
• Bleed causes enemies to take damage over an increasing duration.
