    Depends on the mistake and age. e.g. 1+1 = 3 when you're lets say 18 or making a dedi fall over at any age.

    The randomers are greifing the fuck out of everything and there is nothing we can do to stop it, protections don't protect from the tekkit things and we can't ban people if we don't know who did it.

    Provided I can get a copy of the current map somehow I'm totally okay with a map reset. (If not I'm sure I'll still live)

    Also I have no idea what upheavals have occurred recently but if me and my friend Malliott could please get white-listed whenever is convenient that would be fantastic and very much appreciated.

    And I am for the white-list given how popular the server has become, I'm sure most people have had issues with random players at some point since they started joining, just some added security/quality control is needed to weed out potential griefers.

    Jindo has it right.

    Instead of making a whole new set of commands to make sure that certain players can't do certain things unless they have a certain ranking, we should just make the Tekkit Server a Whitelist server.

    Vanilla Minecraft will still be open to the public, but Tekkit with it's ability to easily exploit the system to get high end materials with almost no effort, and then use those high end items to bypass WorldGuard protections to grief the hell out of everyone and everything demands that we take extra precautions to make sure we know who has access to everything.

    It's rather simple, really. We set up a section right here in the Tekkit Section of the forums for Whitelist Applications. If someone wants to play, they have to fill out a quick form and wait for an Admin to reply.

    We then keep a list of who we have whitelisted, and update it when we add a new player. Hell, I'll be in charge of that record keeping. I'll volunteer.

    Alright, so I see that the Tekkit server is now Whitelisted. Thank you.

    I've made up a new section for Whitelist Applications. If any Admin or Manager (or former Prophunt Admin) have any input into the process, please let it be known.

    Like all things, it's a work in progress.

    Is it set up so if you're not white listed you can't get in, or my suggestion where people can join but can't do anything without being whitelisted? I've not checked, but still think it would be a good thing to have done... unless you can think of a good reason not to. Just a thought.
