    So what kind of mic do you use? Is it clear to players?

    Just thought I would post this as it seems to be of some relevance :P

    Just wondered what kind of mic people used as different people have different levels of clarity -- I've personally been told mine is a bit distorted/ loud, but if I turn it down it's too quiet :cry:

    So mine is a part of a headset: Creative Fatal1ty Pro Series Gaming Headset, to be precise!

    So tell me, is it clear? Distorted? Too loud? Tell us yours and we'll say if you are clear to us, or muffled or anything else :P

    Mine is...brandless. I've been told it's good and bad in equal measure so feedback is appreciated.

    Also I've heard nobody can get theirs working once tf2 has already booted up, if the mic was off? I get this but do y'all?

    nope sounds fine savage

    yea happens to me aswell beau, have to quit tf2 and do all that wot not b4 it works.

    using Logitech Clearchat Pro. been told it is very quiet, could just be me tho =P controls on the headset itself sold me it straight away, screw quality ^^

    Sand, he uses a crappy in-built microphone in ze laptop, thereby sending all the loud annoying sounds of the game as well as my voice. Hence, I don't often use it, except to send: "Sentry Ahe.. om nom nom nom... oh ho you are a loose cannon sandvich, but you are a damned good MEEEEEEDIC!" etc. :lol:

    I just bought a new gaming headset, Creative HS1200 X-Fi Digital Headset - tis a nice piece of kit but i've heard that it can be a little quiet so let us know whether my volume is ok in game :D

    I think my mic is great... yeah :D
    But what about you guys? I've seen that a lot of people from clan are having VERY bad microphones.
    Maybe it's the fact that i don't understand people that are using British accent... :)

    Esh, i have no money for paying 460 PLN only for headset (!!!) (Holy sh*t, xbox 360 costs 460PLN in here) :|
    My headset's price is 45 PLN (9,66 pounds).

    I have a Sennheiser PC151 backslung set. Nice and comfortable but no idea how the mic sounds - people can hear me is all I can say.

    I got a Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset like Savage. Seems Ok but sometimes I talk quietly so not to wake up whole house. Comes with a nice storage bag as well lol.
