    B-b-b-but bind "J" "say_team /slap nlspeed"

  2. Brick Top Server Admin

    bind j "sm_slap nls" also works :D

Indeed though id say more then 10 messages within 4 - 7 seconds is a bit better limit. As it doesnt record those messages in the chatlog that fast but im guessing its possible to get a script checking that ingame on people.

though it might be configured to ignore the command messages ofc so admins dont get kicked for spamming their binds for certain commands.

When I manually type these things, I always type 'nls' or 'nlsp', yes. But there's a larger chance that someone's name contains 'nls' than 'nlspeed'.

What -M-m- said was basically my point though. :P

    /bind j "sm_slap @me" works best.

That way, if you rename yourself something it still targets you.

Never even thought of that, even though I know @me and @aim and all exist. I am silly. Thank you! :P

@aim is really important if you can't target a hacker(or anyone else) by name (namechanger or special characters)

I will say it's so very gratifying to use the /sm_slap @aim bind and Spectate a hacker.

Just toss them about the map. I had fun breaking some player when his aimbot couldn't compensate for being thrown around the map at full speeds.

  10. I think banning someone permanently is a little too extreme, but as others said earlier, I would just treat it as normal spam. Just gagging or temporarily kicking them should suffice. But still, this is a relevant point. There's a lot of chat spam on Orange that could possibly be fixed with a temporary chat ban for a minute or two for spamming the same message, say... 15 times. Also, as previous users stated having a 'No Spam of Binds' on the server home screen could help and then people have no excuse of not knowing that such thing wasn't tolerated.

Well, if it's spam it's deserving of a kick.

    Any spam.

As a native New Englander, this is an absolute staple.

Add in some baked beans and brown bread, and you have a damn fine meal.
